GNDU Confession Wall
Anonymous confessions from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar
What this is
A wall for students of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar — a place to say the things campus doesn't give you room to say: the honest takes, the awkward moments, the rants, the small victories. Every post is anonymous, and every post should stay that way. You can post as a guest, or sign up for an optional account (just a username and password) to keep a handle, an avatar, and a bell for replies.
This site is unofficial and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any educational institution. All posts are anonymous and reflect only the opinions of their authors.
The rules
- No naming, insulting, or exposing real people.
- No hate speech, threats, or harassment.
- No personal information — yours or anyone else's.
- No illegal content.
- Keep it anonymous. Don't reveal who you are, and don't try to reveal anyone else.
- Keep avatars clean: no real faces, no private photos.
Anything that breaks these rules can be reported and removed by a moderator. Reports are anonymous too — we only see the reason and the anonymous device key that sent it.
Optional accounts
- No account is needed to post, comment, or vote. Guests stay fully anonymous with a fresh pseudonym per post.
- Signing up takes only a username and a password — no email, no phone, no recovery. If you forget your password, there is nothing to reset; you can simply start over.
- With an account, your posts and comments show your handle. You can add an avatar (a square image, cropped to a circle, resized to 256px and stored with your account) — no face required, your initials show by default.
- The bell tracks replies to your posts and comments, so you can follow the conversation you started.
- You can change your password or delete your account entirely from the account page.
How anonymity works
- Posts and comments are stored without your identity. Each one gets a random pseudonym like “Anonymous Fox #417” — a fun name that belongs to the post, not to you.
- An account needs nothing but a username and a password: no email, no phone number, nothing to recover. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes — nobody, including the site owner, can read them.
- Without an account, each of your posts gets a fresh pseudonym, so nothing links your posts together.
- Reactions and comment votes are stored under a random key kept on your device, not under your identity. The server never sees your IP to dedupe votes.
- No tracking cookies and no analytics. If you sign in, a session cookie keeps you signed in on that device only.
- A Cloudflare check (Turnstile) blocks bots without profiling you.
- A single moderator password protects the moderation queue. Only the site owner has it, and removed posts show as removed for everyone.
